Shooting Suspect Apprehended

On Saturday, March 28, 2015 at approximately 11:29 p.m., officers were dispatched to the area of 2nd Street and Princeton Ave for a report of a vehicle being shot at. Responding officers located the vehicle occupied by a 36 year old male and 34 year old female. Investigating officers learned that passengers of a silver, Chevy Silverado crew cab pickup pulled up next to the victim’s vehicle and fired shots at them. No injuries were reported.

Investigating officers were able to locate the suspect vehicle and identify four suspects in connection with the shooting. The suspects were identified as Jesus Carrasco, Mario Sanchez, Guadalupe Perez and Daniel Rios. On April 1, 2015, Mario Sanchez, Guadalupe Perez and Daniel Rios were apprehended. At that time, the fourth suspect, Jesus Carrasco,was still being sought in connection with this incident.

On Wednesday, May27, 2015 at about 8:15 p.m., 20year old Jesus Carrasco was apprehended in
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Carrasco was apprehended without incident with the assistance of the Oklahoma City Police Department.

At this time no other suspects are being sought, however the investigation is still ongoing.
