Pam Perkins, Administrative assistant to the president at Seward County
Community College/Area Technical School, was named the 2011 Western Regional
Professional Board Staff member by the Association of Community College

Each year, ACCT selects individuals for regional awards for community
college trustees, equity programs, chief executive officers, faculty
members, and professional board staff.
ACCT Regional Awards recognize the tremendous contributions made by these
individuals. Perkins will now compete on the national-level for the 2011
ACCT Professional
Board Staff Member Award.
"ACCT is proud to shine a spotlight on some of the nation's best public
servants
and professionals through our regional awards program," said ACCT President
and
CEO J. Noah Brown.
Perkins, who has worked at SCCC/ATS since 1990, is a past secretary and past
president of the ACCT executive board of Professional Board Staff. She has
