Seward County United Way Goes Over Goal

Jana Jantzen, Alicia Bird, Michele Gillespie and Jack Cooley, members of the Seward County United Way 50th Anniversary Campaign, put up the final footballs to show that the local United Way has surpassed its $325,000 goal. The public is invited to attend the Seward County United Way’s 2012 Campaign Celebration and Annual Meeting from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 7, upstairs in the Student Union at the Seward County Community College Area Technical School. Refreshments, including hot and cold appetizers, will be served starting at 5 p.m. and the presentation of awards and plaques will start at 6 p.m. Music will be provided by SCCCATS students. The final results of the campaign will be announced at the celebration.
