Seward County Commission Meets, Approves Communications Furniture

The Seward County Board of Commissioners met Monday evening and in an item that was brought back to the Commission, approved the purchase of dispatch console furniture from Xybix Systems, Inc in the amount of $39,323.48.

The Commission also allowed Human Resourcesto pay total April and upcoming May invoices from Jackson Lewis and also approved the Reinvestment Grant and the Regional Collaboration Grant for JCAPS. There is no financial impact on Seward County.

The Massoni Bridge was also discussed by the Commissioners. The Massoni Bridge has received some damage from a grain hauler hitting a portion of the bridge. The Road and Bridge Department has patched and done some welding on the Bridge. The Commission recieved an update on the bridge and discussed the future direction of the bridge.
