Seward County Commission Cancels Events through the First of the Year

Joe Denoyer - November 9, 2020 5:20 pm

The Seward County Commission met Monday morning and after discussing and approving several CARES Act Funding requests, took on the subject of COVID in Seward County. The Commissioners took action and cancelled all events at the Fairgrounds Complex after this weekend through the end of the year, December 31st, 2020. The Ducks Unlimited Banquet and the KSCB Home Show will be allowed to continue this weekend, but the Commission has mandated that masks must be worn at all times by those in attendance.

Commissioners will also meet Tuesday morning at 8:00am and could possibly be making further mandates, county wide, including gathering size limitations. The meeting will be streamed at www.sewardcountyks.org and also on their Facebook page.
