Seven Area Soldiers Return Home for Thanksgiving

KSCB News - November 23, 2010 12:00 am

There is another reason to be thankful this week. Area citizens helped bring home seven area soldiers for Thanksgiving. Operation Holiday Memories, in conjunction with Whirlwind Career Counseling Center for Veterans, has helped seven area National Guardmen come home for Thanksgiving before they ship to Iraq. The seven men and women are Tyler Antrim, Tylan Peterson, Edgar Hinojof, Everett Owens, Jeremy Hull, Antonio Turner, and Teaira Turner. Six of them flew into Liberal last night at about 10 p.m.. The funds which paid for their tickets were generously donated by dedicated citizens of Liberal and the area.
