SCCC/ATS Hosts Xtreme Challenge

Seward County Community College Area Technical School was an even more busy place than usual Wednesday. The college hosted the Xtreme Challenge. Elkhart won the overall challenge while Meade was second and Rolla was third. Students competed in categories including Art, English, Journalism, Drama, Music, Physical Education, Transportation, Industrial Technology, Welding, Agriculture, Cosmetology, Criminal Justice, Business, Marketing and Management, Computer Information Systems, and Math and Science. The top three in each division were awarded medals which were made by the SCCC/ATS machine tool students. They were also given prizes. There was also a scholarship drawing.
