SCCC Announces Homecoming 2026 Celebration

LIBERAL, Kan. – Seward County Community College will celebrate its 56th Annual Homecoming beginning Monday, Feb. 23, 2026, welcoming students, alumni and community members from Liberal and surrounding areas for a week of activities and athletic events.
Homecoming events begin Monday with Campus Fellowship at SCCC’s Rapid Fit Wellness Center Showcase Theater in the Shank Humanities Building. A Community Bonfire and pep rally is scheduled for Friday, following the Saints Baseball games against Otero at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.
Saturday’s events include the President’s Picnic at noon, Saints Baseball against Otero at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m., and Saints Basketball versus the Cowley Tigers, with the women’s game at 2 p.m. and the men’s game at 4 p.m.
Saturday’s athletic events will also include special recognition celebrating Saints history and student-athlete achievements. The SCCC Hall of Fame induction ceremony will take place during halftime of the women’s basketball game. In addition, sophomore recognition for each Saints athletic team will be held prior to the start of the games.
“SCCC Homecoming is a time to bring together our students, alumni, faculty, staff, and community to celebrate what it means to be a Saint,” said Cody Cole, SCCC Associate VP of Athletics. “We are proud to honor our athletic legacy while recognizing the achievements of our current student-athletes.”
