The #19 Seward volleyball team may want to enjoy that ranking in front of their name for the rest of the week. After an 0-3 day at the Wyo-Braska Shootout Thursday which included a second straight conference defeat, Seward is now 9-5. Dodge City beat Seward in a conference match (23-25, 25-23, 25-17, 25-18). Seward falls to 3-2 in the Jayhawk West tied for third with Hutchinson and Colby with Pratt 4-1 and Dodge City 5-1.

Casper beat Seward (25-14, 25-23, 25-16). Fifth ranked Western Nebraska beat Seward (25-18, 25-16, 25-17). Seward plays three more matches Friday.
