Rollover Accident Claims The Life Of An Area Man

A one vehicle rollover accident has claimed the life of an area man. The accident occurred 5 miles South of Elmwood Oklahoma on Highway 23 at approximately 2:25pm. A 2005 Chevy Suburban being driven by Thomas J. Reeves, 90, of Booker Texas was southbound on Highway 23 when the vehicle left the roadway to the right, overturned one and three quarter times and came to res on the drivers side of the vehicle. Reeves sustained head and neck injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. Seatbelts were not in use at the time of the accident. This accident was investigated by Trooper Levi Hill of the Hooker Detachment, assisted by Lt. David Welch, Trooper Derek Stewart, Beaver Co. Sheriff’s Office, Beaver EMS, Booker EMS, and Booker Volunteer Fire Dept.
