Ribbon-Cutting Event to Celebrate Library Coffee Lounge
Joe Denoyer - January 9, 2019 11:04 am
The Liberal Memorial Library will be joined by the Liberal Chamber of Commerce, the Library Board, and the Liberal Memorial Library Foundation to commemorate the completion of the Adult Area Remodel and Coffee Bar with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the Liberal Memorial Library. The dedication will take place on Friday, January 11th at 4:00 pm.
The project is intended to provide a nice workspace to meet the modern demands of library patrons and to provide a courtesy cup of coffee to patrons as they make use of the variety of programs and services that the library provides. Work began in late November and the project was made possible by a generous donation from the Liberal Memorial Library Foundation and the Cooper Clark Foundation.
“We want the community to own this space and make it theirs. I encourage people to make a date to visit the library and have a cup of coffee. If you haven’t been in for a while, take this chance to see the many changes we have made over the past few years.” –Royce Kitts, Director
The Library is also seeking sponsors for the provision of coffee free of charge to our patrons. Contact the library for more details.
