Redskins Outlast Dodge City

The Redskins beat rival Dodge City Tuesday 2-1 in overtime at Dodge City Memorial Stadium Tuesday. The Red Demons netted a goal 20 minutes into the game. Liberal’s Eduardo Moreno tied the game with 1:15 remaining before halftime. Hector Mata dished the assist. There was no score in the second half. Mata scored a goal three minutes into the overtime. Moreno gave Mata the assist. Liberal is 4-1 overall and 2-0 in the WAC. Liberal goes to Garden City Thursday.
