Red Stocking Breakfast Huge Success

The Kansas Children’s Service League’s annual Red Stocking Breakfast held at the Liberal Country Club Saturday December 11, according to event organizers, was a huge success. The annual breakfast which benefits children and families and the Head Start Program in Liberal, raised over $16,200.00, $2000.00 more than last years breakfast. Several hundred people enjoyed a wonderful breakfast prepared by the Liberal Country Club staff and served by “Celebrity” servers from around the area. Door prizes were given away and there was also a visit by old Saint Nicholas himself. This was the 6th time the event was held in Liberal. KSCB broadcast the event live on B107.5
