Pumpkin Festival to Benefit Stepping Stone Shelter

A Pumpkin Festival hosted by the Friends Church in Liberal will be held Sunday October 27th from 2:00pm-4:00pm in Liberal. The Church is located at 1650 N. Western. This is a Community event with the proceeds to benefit Stepping Stone Shelter. The Liberal High School Jazz Band will entertain throughout the afternoon with desserts and coffee being served.

In conjunction with the Pumpkin Festival, a Cookie Contest will also be held. The contest is open to everyone and contestants are asked to bring 2 dozen cookies in a decorated container with 3 additional cookies in a baggie for the judges. There will be prizes for the best taste and decoration. After the judging, the baskets will be auctioned off with the proceeds going to Stepping Stone.
