Pizza Hut Supporting Bright Futures and the Seward County United Way With Fundraisers

Joe Denoyer - June 29, 2017 10:19 am

For the past several years the High Plains Pizza Hut administration and employees have supported ending World Hunger.  In 2016, the company changed to raising funds for The Literacy Project to get books to kids in need. The Literacy Project is what they have started working on again for 2017 with 100% of the funds raised going to Bright Futures and the United Way here in Liberal.

Pizza Hut is doing a variety of events to raise funds this year. Events include:

· Basket Raffle – select the basket you would like your chance(s) to go to. Tickets are one for $5.00 or five for $20.00.

o Basket one is valued at $160.00 and includes a variety of bakeware (most Rachel Ray), cutting board along with a Pizza Hut visor and bag.

o Basket two is valued at $130.00 and includes a variety of children’s books along with a Pizza Hut hat and personal pan coupons.

o Basket three is valued at $110.00 and includes a variety of children’s books and activity set along with personal pan coupons.

o Anyone wanting to purchase tickets can contact our office at 620-624-5638 or stop by at 7 W Parkway Blvd as baskets are on display

· Farmers Market on July 8th, August 5th and September 9th. Pizza Hut will have a booth on these 3 dates where people can stop by to view the 3 baskets and purchase tickets. They will also have a wide variety of baked goods, home décor and skin scrubs available for purchase.

· 6th Annual Garage Sale – Pizza Hut is starting to collect donations for their annual garage sale, date not yet determined. If anyone would like to donate items or drop off items, please ask them to contact the office at 620-624-5638 and ask for Bobbi or Barbara to make arrangements.

o If you are having a garage sale and have left over items, cleaning out the garage, etc . . . Pizza Hut is able to swing by and pick up within the city of Liberal and with advance notice as they would need to make arrangements.

100% of the proceeds will go to Bright Futures and the Seward County United Way. Again for more information call the Pizza Hut offices at 620-624-5638
