Skip Patheal, 90, died Sunday, September 16, 2012 at Southwest Medical
Center in Liberal, KS

She was born January 28, 1922 in Decatur, IL, the daughter of William
Sr. and Edith (Young) Schlosser. She has been a resident of Liberal for
the past six years, also living in Hugoton, KS for 13 years and Denver,
CO for 14 years.

She was a homemaker, an Independent Consultant for Tupperware
International, and she and her husband co-managed on-site storage units.
She was a very active member of the Assembly of God Church in Wichita,
Hays and Hugoton, KS. She served as president of the PTA in Wichita, KS
as well as a Campfire Girl Leader.

On April 29, 1945, she married Otis Patheal in Decatur, IL. He died
September 14, 2001.

Survivors include:
3 Daughters- Penny L. Freeman of Hesston, KS
Vickie L. Becker of Highlands Ranch, CO
Toni Smith and husband Jim of Moscow, KS

2 Brothers- William “Bill” Schlosser, Jr. of Mt. Zion, IL
Marvin Schlosser of Forsyth, IL

8 Grandchildren- Chris Freeman, Tammy Venn, Todd Freeman, Carla
Grindstaff, Brock Becker, Chantal Spires, Stacy Smith and Travis Smith
19 Great-Grandchildren – Allen, Austin, Tiffany, Lindsey, Carrie,
Dawnell, Zach, Mickela, Faith, Hanna, Gabby, Lauren, Braydon, Anna,
Cameron, MaKenzie, Summer, Alec and Jack
4 Great-Great-Grandchildren and also many nephews and nieces

Preceded in death by Parents, Brother- Floyd Schlosser, Sister- Helen
Rostek, Granddaughter – Crystal Duran and Great-Grandson- Dalton Geist.

Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, Sept. 21st at the First
Southern Baptist Church in Liberal with Pastor Jack Jacob presiding.
Burial will be held in Hugoton Cemetery.

Visitation will be 9 am to 7 pm Thursday at Brenneman Funeral Home.
