Joe Denoyer - August 1, 2018 8:10 am

TOPEKA, Kan. (KSNW) – The KBI said Tuesday that no criminal charges are expected in the October 2017 death investigation of 1-year-old Mia Garay.

The KBI was contacted by the Grant County Sheriff’s Office and the Ulysses Police Department for assistance on the death investigation.

According to the KBI, just before noon on October 15, Garay was taken to an area hospital in Ulysses by a family member. When the girl arrived, she was not breathing and did not have a pulse and she was pronounced dead.
