More Tests Being Conducted for COVID 19

Seward County had a huge jump in positive test numbers for COVID 19 as they are now at 142.The jump is due in part to a huge jump also in number of individuals being tested. The lastest statistics released by the Seward County Health Department show, 417 test have been performed throughout the Seward County. Of those 417, 142 individuals test results have come back positive. 184 tests have come back Negative. There are still 78 tests pending and 4 tests have been rejected by the KDHE.

Around the area, Stevens County has tested 53 with 4 positive cases, Haskell County has tested 12 with positive 1 case, Morton County has tested 11 with 2 positive case, Grant County has tested 10 with 0 positive cases, Meade County has tested 14 with 0 positive cases, Ford County has tested 376 with 187 positive cases, Stanton County has tested 9 with 3 positive cases and Finney County has tested 173 with 41 positive cases. Beaver County has 1 positive case while Texas County has 32 positive tests.

Statewide in Kansas there has been 2025 positive tests, 17,076 negative tests, 419 hospitalized and 107 deaths related to COVID 19.

Oklahoma has registered a total of 2807 positive test, 41,537 negative tests, and 143 deaths have been attributed to the Coronavirus.
