Mineral Area Defeats Cimarron River in Lamar

Mineral Area, Missouri beat Liberal’s 12 year old Cimarron River Rattlers 12-2 in four innings Monday afternoon in Lamar at the Midwest Plains Regional. The Rattlers will play the winner of last night’s North Platte, Nebraska vs. La Junta, Colorado game Tuesday at 1 p.m. central time. The winner meets Mineral Area at 3 p.m. and would have to beat them today and tomorrow to advance to Hagerstown, Maryland.
