Barry Mellen coached the South team to an 88-70 win in the Kansas Basketball Coaches Association All Star Game Wednesday evening at Washburn in Topeka. Liberal’s Hannah Rotolo and Vivian Olvera of Southwestern Heights played for the South. Derby’s Joanna McFarland, who signed at OU, scored 24 points.

Two Seward Lady Saint freshman played well for the North. Hoxie’s Kendra Spresser scored eight and Haven’s Morgan Skomal dropped in seven.

The South boys beat the North 111-91.
