Mellen, Olvera, and Rotolo Honored by Coaches

The Kansas Basketball Coaches Association announced their all state and all star teams. Southwestern Heights girls coach Barry Mellen is the coach of the year in the entire state in girls basketball. One of his players Vivian Olvera will play in the KBCA all star game in Topeka for the South squad. Liberal’s Hannah Rotolo joins Olvera on the team.
Rotolo also made the 5-a KBCA all state team. Olvera made the all 3-a team. Elkhart’s Alecia Smith made the all 2-a team.
