Man Injured After Car Flips in Stanton County

A South Carolina man received injuries after flipping his car in Johnson just past midnight Sunday morning. Forty-four year old James Oxford of North Charleston , South Carolina was taken to the Stanton County Health Care Facility in Johnson with injuries after the crash. His 2007 Dodge was east bound on Highway 160 before the Kansas Highway Patrol says he failed to negotiate a stop sign at K27 highway. He went across 27 into the north ditch and flipped end over end three times coming to rest on the roof of the car east of 27. The crash was reported at 12:09 a.m. Sunday morning in the southwest corner of Johnson.
