Liberal Woman Injured In A Vehicle Accident

A one-vehicle rollover near the Texas/Beaver county line south of Liberal and east of Tyrone injured a Liberal woman on Tuesday evening. The accident occurred on a county road 8.6 miles north and four miles west of Turpin.

A 2001 Chevy utility driven by Jennifer Wesley, 32, of Liberal, Kan. was northbound on a county road, left the roadway to the right and rolled two and a quarter times, coming to rest on its passenger side. The driver was taken to Southwest Medical Center, admitted with internal injuries. She was listed in stable condition Wednesday morning.

The incident was investigated by Oklahoma Highway Patrol Trooper Ryan Williams of the Guymon Detachment, the Kansas High Patrol, the Seward County (Kan.) Sheriff’s Department, Liberal EMS, the Beaver County Sheriff’s Department and the Turpin Fire Department assisted in the investigation
