Liberal City Commission to Meet, Possibly Change Pit Bull Ban

The Liberal City Commission is scheduled to meet Tuesday evening at 5:30pm at City Hall. Among the items for the Commission to consider is Ordinance 4550 which would allow Pit Bulls in the City of Liberal.

Also on the agenda is the Fee Schedule for the City, an Economic Development website, and the Reappointment of Judy Chance to the Liberal Memorial Library Board.

Commissioners will consider the purchase of Computer for the Water Department $7,063.00, a Utility Vehicle for the Cemetery for $23,67.00 from Kansas Golf and Turf, and the purchase of two Patrol Cars from the Kansas Highway Patrol for the Police Department. Cost of the vehicles would come in at  $44,200.00.

The City Commission will also consider the Bid Award for the sidewalk at the Liberal Ball Fields.
