Liberal City Commission Meets, Approves Front Entrance Rehab to Blue Bonnet Building

The Liberal City Commission met Tuesday Evening and approved the request for funds from the one cent sales tax for the Rehabilitation of the Front entrance to the Blue Bonnet Community Building. With the Funds, the Commission accepted the low bid from All Glass of $12,127.50 to do the remodel.

The Commission accepted a donation for the Recreation Department in the amount of $17,481.00 from a private donor, the approved the expenditure of those funds to purchase Gun 10k basketball shooting machines and a floor cleaning machine.

A grant application to the MAAM Foundation for the Robotics program was discussed by the Commission with the MAAM Foundation and the Foundation funded the request.  Junteenth as a National Holiday was also discussed and Commissioners approved June 19th as a City Holiday.
