Liberal City Commission Meets

The Liberal City Commission met Tuesday night for their regularly scheduled meeting. The meeting was a quick one with only two agenda items, and both being discussion items. The commission discussed the Western Avenue/2nd Street Road intersection and widening the radius to allow trucks to make the turn safer. The final approval will come when the commission approves the Western Avenue project as a whole. The commission also set the dates for bugetary meetings with the Not For Profit requests to come on July 1, Budget Review on July 11, and the Budget hearings on July 28, and August 11. The next regular meeting of the Liberal City Commission will be July 14th.
