The Liberal Chamber of Commerce Bash that was scheduled to take place Saturday evening at Liberal High School has been postponed due to the Coronavirus CODIV-19. Executive Director of the Liberal Chamber of Commerce Rozelle Webb, stated that the postponement was beyond the Chamber’s control. With the recently declared National Emergency, the school district informed the Chamber that they could not hold the Bash until the National State of Emergency has been rescinded. The State Board of Education has set a maximum number of 100 people that can occupy School property by outside organizations during a National Emergency. Emergency Management Director Greg Standard, stated that there will be many inconveniences over the next few weeks, but everyone is doing the best they can to keep the public safe.

The Chamber will reschedule the Bash at a later time. For more information, contact the Chamber of Commerce at 620-624-3855.
