LHS Inducts 108 into National Honor Society

Liberal High School hosted the National Honor Society Induction Wednesday night in front of a nearly packed Maskus Auditorium at LHS.  There were 108 students inducted into NHS.  There were 13 seniors, 15 juniors, and 80 sophomores.  There was a recognition of the Kansas State Scholar Candidates and Valedictorian/Salutatorian candidates.  They are Daniela Cerda, Nathalie DonJuan, Jovanni Garcia, Karen Gomez Najera, Kylee Hammel, Elle Hatcher, Alexis Hernandez, Antonio Holguin-Dorado, J.Brooks Kappelmann, Ryan Mein, Alexis Paredes Olvera, and Matthew Rice.  Toby Headrick is the NHS president while Karel Mancia is the vice president, Paris Bond is secretary, Aidan Schwindt is treasurer, and Katrin Flores and Janaya Devorce are executive council members.  Ashley Prosser and Heather Watt are the NHS advisers.
