KDOT Announces Approved December Bids, 1 Project in Seward County

The Kansas Department of Transportation announces approved bids for state highway construction and maintenance projects in Kansas. The letting took place Dec. 18, 2019, in Topeka. Approved in Seward County is on U.S. Highway 54, from the Oklahoma/Kansas state line east to the west city limits of Liberal. This project consists of an ultra thin layer of bonded asphalt surfacing for approximately 3.9 miles. J & R Sand Company Inc., Liberal received the bid in the amount of $1,137,284.67.
