Jackson Keeps Skins Close at Garden

KSCB News - April 28, 2010 12:00 am

Garden City took two over LHS Tuesday at John Ford Field in Garden 3-0 and 14-4. Emily Jackson and a stronger LHS defense kept Liberal in game one. Jackson allowed just three hits. In game two, the Buffaloes jumped on Liberal for six in the first. Liberal would rally and a two RBI double by Brooke Scheurman would make it 7-4 Garden going to the bottom of the fifth. But Garden City would out score LHS 7-0 the rest of the way. Liberal is 4-10 overall and 0-6 in the WAC. The Lady Buffs are 7-2.
