Injury Accident Occurs Wednesday Afternoon

An injury accident occurred Wednesday March 2nd, at approximately 12:13pm approximately 6 miles north of Turpin, Ok in Beaver County.

A 1993 Peterbilt being driven by Armando Rivera, 45, of Turpin, OK was traveling south on US-83 and was turning into a private drive. A 2006 Kenworth driven by Rubio Rojelio, 42, of Sublette, KS was traveling south behind Rivera when he looked down into the cab then looked back up to see that he was approaching the Peterbilt quickly. Rojelio went into the shoulder and Rivera turned and they collided.

Rojelio was transported to Southwest Medical Center in Liberal, KS via Seward County EMS.
