Information on the USD 480 Libraries for JumpStart/Summer School
● All elementary libraries will be open 9:00AM-1:30PM, Tuesday-Thursday, during the
June and July summer sessions.
○ Session 1: June 8 – July 1
○ Session 2: July 6 – July 29
● All summer school students will visit the library with their class each week for book
checkout.
● MASKS WILL BE OPTIONAL DURING SUMMER SCHOOL
● Each library will hold an Open Library hour from 12:30PM-1:30PM, Tuesday-Thursday,
that will allow students not enrolled in JumpStart to utilize the library for book
checkout.
● Each library will hold a “Family Day” event during Open Library every Thursday that
JumpStart is in session. Activities will include storytime, crafts, parent information, etc.
All students MUST be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Cottonwood Elementary – 1100 W. 11th St.
MacArthur Elementary – 925 S. Holly
Meadowlark Elementary – 1200 N. Calvert
Prairie View Elementary – 615 Warren Ave.
Sunflower Elementary – 310 W. Pine S
