Hugoton Police Make Drug Arrest

On August 27 at approximately 7:00 p.m., Detective Lamatsch, Corporal Fedelin, Master Patrol Officer Crane and Officer McCann executed a search warrant in the 600 block of South Jackson Street in Hugoton. During the search, officers discovered drugs and drug paraphernalia inside the residence. Charges have been forwarded to the County Prosecutor for possession of controlled substances, possession of drug paraphernalia, and aggravated child endangerment on the occupants of the home, Mary Asbury, 38 of Hugoton and Richard Leadbetter, 50, of Hugoton.
