Hail Thumps Turpin Area

The area has received soaking rain Monday night into Tuesday morning. But there were some storms deemed severe Monday night which dropped hail in the Panhandles. Trained spotters reported 1.50 inch hail in Turpin Monday night at 7:47. There was 1.75 inch hail reported at 6:00 PM at Waka in Ochiltree County. At 5:36, there was two inch hail reported south of Spearman. Hail produced a dent the size of a grapefruit.
