H.U.G.S., City and Eagle Scout to Improve Bus Shelter

A H.U.G.S. Grant from Southern Pioneer recently presented the City of Liberal with a $2,500 H.U.G.S. grant and a matching grant from CoBank’s Sharing Success program.

The grants will be used to purchase materials for a bus shelter in Liberal.

The shelter is an Eagle Scout project of Dammion Brown. Dammion approached The City and explained the need of a shelter for those waiting to use the bus.

The City approved the project and has been working with Dammion to create the new space.
