Governor Announces Date for State of the State Address

Topeka – Kansas Governor Sam Brownback announced today he has accepted the invitation of Speaker of the Kansas House of Representatives Mike O’Neal ( R-Hutchinson) to deliver his 2012 State of the State address to the Kansas Legislature in the House Chamber on Wednesday, January 11, 2011 at 6:30 P.M.
In accordance with Section 5 of Article 1 of the Kansas Constitution, the governor provides to the Legislature information on the condition of the State.
The State of the State address will be televised live by Kansas television and radio stations.
This will be the 130th State of the State address.
