Garden City Teens Face Charges

KSCB News - September 17, 2009 12:00 am

Two Garden City teenagers face possible criminal charges after police said they fabricated a story about being sexually assaulted.

The 13 and 15 year old girls initially told police they were sexually assaulted by five men in Northwest Garden City last month.

Police said the girls made up the story in an effort to cover up for being late and for having consensual sex with two older boys. The girls could face criminal charges including felony obstruction of official duty and falsely reporting a crime.
