Four Injured in Meade County Crash

Four people were taken to the hospital after two vehicles collided Saturday afternoon on Highway 54 in Meade County. Two people from McPherson and two from Albuquerque received injuries. At about 3 p.m. a 1999 Monte Carlo driven by 17 year old McKenzie Ediger of McPherson was headed west on Highway 54. The car was passing a semi and saw no one coming and went head on into an eastbound 2010 Hyundai Utility Vehicle driven by 79 year old Edwin Hull of Albuquerque. Ediger and his passenger 16 year old Andrea Megee of McPherson were injured and taken to Meade District Hospital. Hull and his passenger 65 year old Catherine Hull of Albuquerque were taken to Minneola District Hospital. The crash occurred at milepost 58 in Meade County.
