Forgan Teen Injured In an Accident

A single vehicle accident occurred Sunday evening at 11:00pm on County Road 138 1/2 mile south of CR6 , 3/10 of a mile south of Forgan, in Beaver County.

A 1992 Chevrolet pickup driven by a juvenile male age 16 of Forgan, Oklahoma was traveling south on County Road 138 when the driver failed to navigate curve. The vehicle departed the east side of the roadway, rolling 1 ½ times through a fence and striking a tree coming to rest on its roof. He had to be extricated from his vehicle.

The teen was transported by Beaver County EMS to Beaver County Hospital in Beaver, Oklahoma,later to be transported by Life/Save Flight to OU Medical in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was admitted in stable condition with leg, trunk internal and external injuries.

It was determined he was driving under the influence and not wearing his seatbelt at the time of the accident.
