First COVID-19 Numbers of 2021

The numbers released by the KDHE, Seward County Health Department, and surrounding Counties for Wednesday January 6th show Seward County has had 3,612 individuals test results have come back positive for Coronavirus. 3,282 Individuals have recovered from COVID 19 with 28 deaths reported.

Southwest Medical reports current hospitalizations at 22 which includes out of county residents being treated at SWMC. Total active cases in Seward County are 330.

Around the area, Stevens County has 539 positives, 505 recovered, and 6 deaths. Haskell County 373 positives, 357 recovered, and 2 deaths,  Grant County has 920 positive 896 recovered, and 14 deaths, Meade County has 411 positives 388 have recovered, and 4 deaths, Ford County has 5,262 positive cases, and Finney County has 4,938 positive cases. Beaver County 318 positives, 300 recovered, and 2 deaths, Texas County has 2988 positive tests with 2869 recoveries and 17 deaths.
