Early Risers Kiwanis Coats for Kids Program

The Liberal Early Risers Kiwanis Club met Monday evening at the South Fire Station to sort and prepare winter coats for delivery to local children in need.  Assisting with the packaging process were members of the Liberal High School Key Club.   The coats were delivered to the elementary schools on Tuesday morning for distribution in time for the Thanksgiving holiday.  The Early Risers Kiwanis wish express their thanks to all who support the program through the year by purchasing Georgia & Colorado peaches during the summer sale as well as donations toward the program.
