Dunaway Manor/Heritage Community offering free lunch to seniors every Friday, Saturday, Sunday.

Dunaway Manor and Heritage Community in Guymon, in cooperation with the Oklahoma Food Bank will be offering free lunch to Seniors and Handicapped individuals in the Oklahoma Panhandle. This is an effort to make sure that no individuals go hungry on the weekends when the Meals on Wheels Program is not operating.
Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday a free take-out meal will be available for pick up between 11:45 AM and 12:15 PM at the entrance to Heritage Community Assisted Living located at 501 NE 15th Street in Guymon, OK.
In order to have enough meals prepared persons that need a meal, or are picking up a meal to deliver to an elderly or handicapped person need to call 580-338-3186 on Friday, Saturday and Sunday before 10:30 AM and let the team know they are picking up a meal.
Dunaway Manor/Heritage Community will be providing copies of our weekly menu to area media outlets for them to announce to the public, and when you call in for each day, we will tell you what the menu for that day is. The menu offered is the same menu that was developed by our Dietician for the neighbors that reside here at Dunaway/Heritage.
At this time only meals for takeout will be available. It is our hope that as we progress through the COVID Pandemic and are allowed by CMS and OSDH to have more visitors that we will be able to allow individuals to eat with our neighbors at Heritage Community Assisted Living in our Dining Room.
There is no cost to the individuals for the meals. Donations are accepted to help offset the cost of the meal, but no one will be asked to donate for their meal. This is a free service provided by Dunaway Manor and Heritage Community in partnership with the Oklahoma Food Bank and Feeding America.
