Dump Truck Accident Claims the Life of a Liberal Man

A one vehicle accident has claimed the life of a Liberal man. The accident occurred Monday morning at approximately 8:55am, 7 miles east of Liberal on County Road 4.

A 2009 International Dump truck being driven by Jamey Cobb, 58, of Liberal was east bound on County Road 4 when  the passenger tires dropped off the roadway, Cobb over corrected and rolled an unknown number of times. The Dump truck came to rest in the North ditch, facing Northwest on all wheels. Cobb died at the scene as a result of his injuries. He was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the accident
