Drug Investigation Nets Several Arrests

On Wednesday, October 7, 2009, the Seward County Sheriffź??s Office, with the assistance of Liberal Police Department, the Kansas Bureau of Investigations Drug Task Force, Beaver County Sheriffź??s Office K-9 unit and the Tyrone Police Department K-9 Officer, ended a 9 month long investigation that lead to 11 search warrants in connection with suspected drug activity.

Officers began serving the search warrants at approximately 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday and ended the operation on Thursday afternoon. 25 people were arrested on felony drug charges during the operation.

A 22 year old black male was arrested at 607 N. Missouri for possession of Marijuana.

A 33 year old black male was arrested at 613 N. Oklahoma for conspiracy to sell Cocaine.

A 50 year old black male was arrested at 607 N. Missouri for 3 counts of sale of Cocaine and conspiracy to sell Cocaine.

A 21 year old black male was arrested in the 500 block of N. Nebraska for 2 counts of sale of Cocaine.

A 75 year old black male was arrested in the 200 block of E. 8th for 2 counts of sale of Cocaine.

A 34 year old Hispanic female was arrested at 417 W. Second for sale of Cocaine.

A 36 year old Hispanic male was arrested at 417 W. Second for sale of Cocaine.

A 36 year old Hispanic male was arrested at 1501 E. 8th for sale of Cocaine.

A 59 year old Hispanic male was arrest at 1501 E. 8th for sale of Cocaine.

A 22 year old black male was arrested at 425 N. Washington for 2 counts of sale of Cocaine.

A 46 year old black female was arrested at 613 N. Oklahoma for 4 counts sale of Cocaine.

A 37 year old Hispanic male was arrested at 745 E. Pancake for 4 counts sale of Cocaine.

A 41 year old black male was arrested at 425 N. Washington for sale of Cocaine.

A 41 year old Hispanic male was arrested at 124 S. Grant for 2 counts of Sale of Cocaine.

A 24 year old Hispanic male was arrested at 500 E. 2nd for 2 counts of sale of Cocaine.

A 61 year old black male was arrested at 600 N. Nebraska for 3 counts of sale of Cocaine.

A 39 year old Hispanic male was arrested at 1501 E. 8th for 3 counts of sale of Cocaine.

A 51 year old white female was arrested in the 100 block of S. Grant for 2 counts of Sale of Cocaine.

A 46 year old black male was arrested in the 600 block of N. Oklahoma for 2 counts of sale of Cocaine.

A 35 year old Hispanic male was arrested in the 500 block of E. 8th for 2 counts of sale of Cocaine.

A 20 year old Hispanic female was arrested at 2500 N. Western for possession of Marijuana.

A 27 year old Hispanic male was arrested in the 500 block of E. 8th for possession of Cocaine with the intent to sell.

A 44 year old Hispanic male was arrested at 726 N. Calvert for possession of Cocaine with the intent to sell.

A 22 year old Hispanic male was arrested in the 500 block of E. 8th for possession of Cocaine with the intent to sell.

A 35 year old white female was arrested in the 500 block of N. Washington for sale of Cocaine.

Officers served search warrants on five Liberal residences:

613 N. Oklahoma

607 N. Missouri

512 E. 8th

124 S. Grant

124 W. Hickory

738 N. Missouri

One Liberal business at 745 E. Pancake and 4 vehicles suspected to be carrying illegal narcotics.

Law Enforcement seized an undisclosed amount of Cocaine, Marijuana and cash.

Officials expect additional arrests will be made in the coming weeks in connection with this investigation.

All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a Court of law.
