Driver Arrested After 1 Vehicle Rollover Accident

In the early hours of Monday morning, a 1 vehicle rollover accident resulted in the driver being arrested. The accident occurred at approximately 3:56am when a 2002 Lincoln Blackwood pick up being driven by Aram Garcia of Liberal was westbound on County Road 3 in the vicinity of Road I when he went off the roadway for an unknown reason. The pickup rolled and came to rest in the north ditch. Garcia was arrested on scene, and 2 passengers in the pick up, Vidal Melendez and Alex Rodriguez were taken to Southwest Medical Center to be treated for their injuries.

The accident appears to be alcohol related and the case has been forwarded to the Seward County Attorney’s Office. The case is still under investigation.
