Doran, Hauser, and Caster Make Baseball America List

Three Liberal Bee Jays make Baseball America’s List for the top prospects in the Jayhawk League. Right-hander Bobby Doran is number two on the list. The 6’6″ Seward flame thrower is in Lubbock at Texas Tech after going 3-4 with a 3.49 ERA with 38 strikeouts and 15 walks. The Flower Mound, Texas native was clocked at 94 miles per hour during his first appearance at the NBC World Series.

San Diego’s Matt Hauser is the number six player on the list. Hauser went 5-2 with a 2.45 ERA. The Newport Beach, California native struck out 85 and walked 16 for the 34-20 BJ’s.

Wichita State’s Mitch Caster made the list as Baseball America’s number seven prospect in the Jayhawk League. Caster hit .351 with a homer and 27 RBI’s. On the mound, the right-hander registered two saves, a 1-1 record, and a 1.74 ERA. The Goddard native struck out 14 and walked six in 10 appearances and ten and one-third innings pitched.

El Dorado’s Wes Cunningham was the number one player on the list.
