Dominguez Named Interim Director of Human Resources

— Longtime Liberal resident and Seward County Community College payroll specialist Elizabeth Dominguez has been named interim Human Resources director, SCCC President Brad Bennett announced this week.
“Charlotte Peterson, HR director for the past three years, has taken a vice president position at a university in Minnesota and submitted her resignation,” Bennett said. “While we are sad to see her go, we are excited for her new opportunity.” The department will be in good hands with Dominguez at the helm, he added: “It’s a busy time of year, and we are lucky to have Elizabeth in this area as she has years of experience in the HR field.”
Dominguez began working alongside Peterson in mid-July and will continue as interim director while SCCC searches for a payroll specialist.
“The HR department has done a phenomenal job filling positions over the past year, as we continue to grow our online programs and expand our campus,” said Bennett. “I’m just very excited about the team that we’re creating at SCCC.”
