Delays in Coal Plant Costs GCCC

(AP) Delays in state approval for two new coal-fired power plants near Holcomb causes Garden City Community College to lose nearly two million dollars in federal grant money. GCCC officials said yesterday that they were told to return the Department of Labor grant that would have trained workers to help build the plants.
