Dead Cow in the Roadway Causes Accident

An injury accident occurred on Sunday morning at approximately 12:27am, at US-412 and Mile 48, approximately 1 mile east of Hardesty, OK in Texas County.

A 2021 Chevy Silverado being driven by David Brane, 78, of Guymon, OK. was traveling west on US-412 when he struck a dead cow lying in the roadway. Brane was not injured, however a passenger in the vehicle, Peggy Coffman, 84, also of Guymon, was taken by private vehicle to Memorial Hospital of Texas County in Guymon, where she was admitted in stable condition with back injuries.
