COVID-19 Numbers for May 1st

Seward County Health Department has released the lastest statistics Friday evening. Test results show that in Seward County 528 individuals test results have come back positive for COVID-19. According to the health department, some of yesterday’s cases were reclassified and taken from the count, but new cases were also added. You’ll see that the positive column only increased by one today because of those changes. 686 tests have come back negative. 67 Individuals have recovered from COVID 19.

Around the area, Stevens County has 11 positive cases compared to 84 negative cases with 5 recovered, Haskell County 7 positive cases and 36 negative cases, Morton County has 3 positive cases and 22 negative cases, Grant County has 6 positive case and 39 negative cases, Meade County has 6 positive cases 35 negative cases, Ford County has 702 positive cases with 967 negative cases, Stanton County has 5 positive cases, 11 negative cases and Finney County has 404 positive cases and 430 negative cases. Cimarron County has 1 positive case, Beaver County has 9 positive cases while Texas County has 138 positive tests. Ochiltree County/Perryton TX has reported 19 positive cases with 2 non resident positives.

Seward County – 10 hospitalized
Ford County – 7 hospitalized
Finney County – 7 hospitalized
Stevens County – 1 hospitalized
Some of the individuals have been discharged from the hospital.

Statewide in Kansas there has been 4449 positive tests, 28,585 negative tests, and 130 deaths related to COVID 19.

Oklahoma has registered a total of 3748 positive tests, 62,714 negative tests, and 230 deaths have been attributed to the Coronavirus.
